NDA Eligibility Criteria 2026-2027

Educational Qualification

For the Army Wing, candidates must have passed Class 12 from a recognised board in any stream. For the Air Force and Navy Wings, Physics and Mathematics are mandatory subjects at the 12th level. Students currently appearing in their Class 12 board exams are also eligible to apply.

Age Limit

Candidates must be between 16.5 and 19.5 years of age. For NDA 2026, eligible birth dates fall between July 2, 2007, and July 1, 2010.

Nationality

Applicants must be Indian citizens, subjects of Nepal or Bhutan, or persons of Indian origin who have migrated from specific countries with proper eligibility certification.

Physical Standards

• Minimum height: 157 cm (162.5 cm for Air Force)
• Weight proportional to age and height
• Eyesight correctable to 6/6 in both eyes
• No flat feet, knock knees, or other physical disabilities
